Paravel Bags
Paravel bags today means one piece: the Signature Canvas Tote, a cotton canvas carryall that slides over a suitcase handle. Before 2025, the range also took in Cabana totes, duffels, weekenders, vanity cases and a pet carrier.

Paravel Signature Canvas Tote
Paravel says the 2026 tote is the former Cabana Tote, and its size bears that out: it is nearly the same size as the Large Cabana.

Is the Paravel Tote a Personal Item?
Paravel calls it a carry-on personal item. The catch is length: at 23.6 inches, it is longer than the 18 inch personal-item limit at American, Spirit and Frontier, and the 17 inch limit at United. On those airlines, a gate agent can count it as your carry-on.
Soft sides help: a half-full tote squashes down, which matters on airlines such as Delta that only ask that a personal item fit under the seat. Fully packed, plan on it riding on your suitcase handle to the gate and going in the overhead bin.
What Fits Inside
Paravel lists room for a change of clothes, a laptop, a book and daily essentials. At 37.3 liters it holds close to the Aviator Carry-On's 39.2, so as an overnight bag it goes further than most totes.

Cabana Pet Carrier

For pets up to 20 lb, with mesh panels, a washable fleece lining, an inner leash clip and a strap. Folds flat. Check your airline's under-seat pet carrier size before flying.

EcoCraft Canvas and How It Wears
Paravel's original canvas, EcoCraft, blended natural cotton with thread spun from recycled plastic bottles, finished with a silicone stain-repellent coating and certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and the Global Recycled Standard. Each bag counted its bottles: 30 to 33 for a Large Cabana, 2 for a vanity case.
The 2026 tote moves to BCI-certified cotton canvas with a water- and dirt-resistant finish. BCI cotton is responsibly sourced rather than recycled, so the tote's main fabric has less recycled content than the old canvas did.

Is the Signature Canvas Tote the same as the Cabana Tote?
Paravel says the Signature Canvas Tote was formerly the Cabana Tote. It is now BCI cotton canvas rather than the old cotton and recycled-bottle blend, in two new colors.
How big is the Paravel tote?
The Signature Canvas Tote measures 60 x 37 x 18 cm, about 23.6 x 14.6 x 7.1 inches, with 37.3 liters of packing space.
Does the Paravel tote fit over a suitcase handle?
Yes. A sleeve on the back slides over a rolling suitcase handle, including the Aviator's.
Is the Paravel tote waterproof?
No. Paravel describes the canvas finish as water- and dirt-resistant. Owners of the older Cabana found it was not weatherproof.
Does the Paravel tote have a zip?
The Signature Canvas Tote closes with a latch. Of the original Cabanas, the Small and Medium had zip tops and the Large a clasp.
Are Paravel bags covered by the warranty?
No. The 10-year warranty covers Aviator suitcases only. The tote falls under Paravel's 28-day returns policy.
Is the Paravel pet carrier airline approved?
Liberty London listed it as fitting airplane overhead compartments, but airlines set their own pet carrier sizes and usually require the carrier under the seat. Check your airline before you book.
Will Paravel bring back the duffels and weekender?
Not announced. ATR Group has said new shapes are coming in 2027 without naming them.
